PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN RECEIVED HEAD OF ITERA INTERNATIONAL GROUP OF COMPANIES
Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, received Igor Makarov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ITERA International Group of Companies, in Ashkhabad on November 21.
During the meeting, Igor Makarov informed the President of Turkmenistan on implementation of ITERA large investment projects in Turkmenistan. Special attention was given to construction of a few facilities on the Caspian Sea shore.
When discussing short-term plans, G. Berdymukhamedov and I. Makarov reconfirmed they were ready to extend cooperation in fuel and energy areas. A possibility of ITERA involvement in development of hydrocarbon fields in the Caspian Sea shelf of Turkmenistan was reviewed.
