A gala night devoted to the decennary of the CJSC Uralsevergaz establishment was held in Ekaterinburg. The Governor, the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region and ITERA Oil and Gas Company, LLC, were involved in the establishment of the Company. It has been continuously supplying natural gas to the region since January 1, 1999.
The volume of natural gas supplied to the Middle Urals so far has exceeded 170 billion cu m.
Victor Koksharov, Chairman of the regional Government, Alexander Levin, Head of the Governor’s Administration, Vladimir Makeyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CJSC Uralsevergaz, Chairman of the Management Board of ITERA Oil and Gas Company, LLC, addressed the festivity and pointed out that the Urals Region was the only constituent entity of the Russian Federation, whose entire demand in natural gas was met by the independent supplier. Efficient operation of Uralsevergaz and ITERA during the past decade was an important condition for social and economic stability in the region.
The Chairman of the Government stressed that the companies were investing heavily in the provision of natural gas supply, construction of gas pipelines and heating boiler houses in the Middle Urals. Over 500 kilometers of gas pipelines and over 50 modern heating boiler houses have been constructed within the past ten years. He thanked workers of the entity for their fruitful work and stated that a lot remained to be done for development of power engineering, housing and public utilities, and others sectors of the economy.
The leader of the Administration passed cordial congratulations with the jubilee date and the wish of robust health and success in the coming New Year from E.Rossel, the Governor the Sverdlovsk Region, to the collective of the enterprise.
Vladimir Makeyev, on behalf of the managers of ITERA Oil and Gas, LLC, congratulated the collective of the subsidiary with the jubilee and presented Ten Years of ITERA, a plaque of ITERA International Group of Companies, and the Company’s certificates of honor and valuable presents to the best employees of Uralsevergaz. «Ten years ago, - he pointed out, - leaders of the region made a revolutionary step in provision of gas supply in the region. They entrusted a private company to provide gas supply to the largest industrial region of Russia in difficult conditions. We had justified this high confidence with honor. By supplying natural gas smoothly and by increasing from year to year the volume of gas supplied, we demonstrated our viability, success and perspective».
ITERA is going to continue fulfilling its obligations under the crisis conditions. These obligations relate to the implementation of the large natural gas provision program, development of heat-power engineering, implementation of energy and gas saving technology and equipment in the enterprises of the Sverdlovsk Region.
