ITERA Oil and Gas Company (ITERA OGC) of Russia is going to build a Construction Materials Plant in Armenia, - Igor Makarov, Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, stated in his meeting with Serge Sargsyan, President of Armenia.
As the Press Service of the Head of the Armenian state informed ARKA on Monday, Makarov pointed out that ITERA was ready to invest in this area.
Both parties discussed cooperation programs in various areas, as well as tasks for the future, at the meeting.
ITERA Oil and Gas Company holds a 5.06 per cent stake with ArmRosgazprom, an Armenian-Russian company, being a monopolist in the Russian gas supply and distribution in Armenia. The other shareholders include Gazprom with a 72.16 per cent stake, and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia with a 22.78 per cent stake.
ITERA OGC producers and sells natural gas. ITERA-Invest-Story, its affiliate, is among the larger builders in the markets of Russia and Belarus. It is implementing developer projects in the Ukraine and Turkmenistan, as well.
