Moldova President met Chairman of the Board of ITERA International Group of companies

Vladimir Voronin, President of Moldova, met Igor Makarov, Chairman of the Board of ITERA International Group of companies. According to the head of State Press-Service, the parties discussed various issues of ITERA International Group of companies cooperation with partners from Moldova. The current regulatory and legal framework in Moldova, favorable to investment activities, was praised.
The President of the Republic pointed out the contribution ITERA had made in renovation of certain objects of Moldova cultural and historic heritage. He thanked the company for the assistance it had provided to the government of the Republic in overcoming effects of the last year’s drought. In his turn, Igor Makarov, being merited master of sports, welcomed the measures taken in Moldova to help develop Olympic sports, particularly, bicycling. In that respect, good organization of the races for the Cup of the President of the Republic of Moldova – 2008 was noted. 170 representatives of ten countries, including Yves Leterme, Prime Minister of Belgium, participated in it.
