An official ceremony of Pyreinoye gas condensate field commissioning in commercial operation had taken place on April 23. The field is located in the Purovski Region of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. The commissioning ceremony coincided in time with the 15-th Anniversary of OJSC Sibneftegaz that had been involved in the development of the field since 2007. When at full capacity, the field would add up to 2 billion cu m of gas a year to the gas balance of the country.

Ten operational wells, a 36 kilometer-long connection gas pipeline to Urengoi-Chelyabinsk gas-main pipeline, a complex gas treatment plant, a rotational residential estate and ancillary facilities had been constructed in Pyreinoye gas condensate field. Modern equipment was installed and innovative technology implemented in the field. The field was developed according to the world industrial and ecological safety standards. Sibneftegaz had been operating the Beregovoye field since 2007. It also owns licenses to explore and develop Khadyryakhinski and Zapadno-Zapolyarni fields. The total reserves of the Company are in excess of 400 billion cu m.
